The Pre-Purchase Home Inspection.
The purchase of a home is one of the largest single investments you will ever make. A pre-purchase home inspection by a LSBHI-licensed inspector helps minimize the possibility of unpleasant surprises and unexpected costs.
About Pre-Purchase Home Inspections
What is a pre-purchase inspection?
A pre-purchase inspection is performed before the purchase of a property. It is usually completed after a formal offer is made. Once the inspection is completed an inspection report is created with the results and includes detailed information about the home. The inspection report will reflect the present conditions of the house components (the time/day of the inspection).
The report will not be a short checklist with highly technical terms; in contrary, it is a detailed report that includes the presence of any readily visible, notable issues and their whereabouts. The report will also be worded in a way you can easily understand and/or include pictures.
Our goal for every home buyer
We understand that the home buying process is exciting but also can be very stressful. It is extremely important that you learn as much as you can about the condition of the property and the possible need for any repairs before making the purchase. We believe a pre-purchase inspection will help you do this. It is our goal to minimize the possibility of unpleasant surprises and unexpected costs.
